U15 B Ice Boltz win gold in Kanata

The North Bay U15 B Ice Boltz came home golden after going undefeated in the round robin and winning the gold medal contest at the event held in Kanata on the weekend. 

Addison Knight had the lone goal and the tournament winner edging the Norfolk Hurricanes 1-0.  Alexus Beaucage recorded the shutout. 

Earlier on Sunday in the semi-final, the Ice Boltz edged the  GCGH Stars 3-2.

Savita Fredette, Abbie Fry and Arielle Petitclerc had the goals while Izzy Hughson got the win in goal. 

In round robin play which started Friday, the Ice Boltz slipped by the Kanata Rangers 2-1.  Alex Delisle and Abby Fry had the goals and Hughson got the win between the pipes. 

In the second contest Friday, Alexus Beaucage got the shutout in a 0-0 draw versus the Kitchener Rangers Team Blue.  

On Saturday the Ice Boltz continued their winning ways with a 2-1 win over the Nepean Wildcats. Petitclerc and Brooklyn Laronde were the goal scorers. Hughson got the win in goal for the Ice Boltz. 

In their final round robin contest, the Ice Boltz tied the Ottawa Ice 2-2. Abbie Fy and Brooklyn Laronde had the goals.  

Team members include: Izzy Hughson, Alexus Beaucage, Aila Van Haesendonck, Arielle Petitclerc, Savita Fredette, Abbie Fry, Mackenzie Hache, Celeste Beaupre, Addison Knight, Taylor Southall, Sofia Langford, Alex Delsisle, Cali Bush, Brooklyn Laronde, Raia Lanholm, and Sydney Olsen. Head Coach: Chris Olsen. Assistant Coaches: Adam Lanholm, Denis Hache and James Knight.
