Powassan Hawks Midget team will be holding Development Camp style skates during July and August.
There will be four skates starting on July 15th. The skates are open to any 2002, 2003, and 2004 birth-year players who are looking to play rep hockey in the 2019-20 season. Cost to attend the skates is $10 per session or $30 for all four.
We be introducing basic system concepts that will be used during the season and getting a feel for players strengths.
The majority of the ice time will be spent in game-like situations.
The sessions are July 15th @ 8:15 p.m. (one hour), July 19th @ 6:15 p.m. (1 1/2 hour) and August 2nd @ 6:15.p.m. (1 1/2 hour) at Pete Palangio Kelly rink in North Bay. The fourth will be 1 1/2 hour slot on Thursday, August 15th in Powassan (time TBA).
Consideration will be given to players outside of the midget age group, depending on space availability and ability.
Sessions will have limited contact.
Attendance to these sessions is not mandatory to attend the training camp at the end of summer.
