Dominique Bouchard Invitational in PHOTOS

A total of 300 swimmers from 11 teams from across the northeast took part in the swim meet named after the former Titans Olympic swimmer and hosted by the North Bay Y Titans swim team.

It was a busy weekend at the North Bay YMCA as hundreds of young swimmers from around the north for the Dominique Bouchard Invitational Swim Meet.

A total of 300 swimmers from 11 teams from across the northeast took part in the swim meet named after the former Titans Olympic swimmer and hosted by the North Bay Y Titans swim team.

During the two-day meet, Titans Breastrokers Violet Allen and Hannah Helms had good enough times to make the 12-year-old Ontario Festival cut in the 100m Breaststroke.

Organizers thanked all the volunteers, officials and coaches who helped make the event a reality.

That includes a special thank you to CFB North Bay which allowed the Titans to use portable bleachers which were set up in the upstairs viewing area and in the foyer of the YMCA.
