Come Try Ringette For Free

To introduce this sport to more players in its hometown, the West Ferris Ringette Association is offering a Come Try Ringette for Free Event on Sunday December 18 at 4 p.m. at West Ferris Arena.

The sport of RINGETTE was developed in 1963 in North Bay, Ontario by Sam Jacks.

There are currently 27,000 players on nearly 2,000 teams across Canada with over 2,400 officials and 5,000 coaches. It is now played in all ten provinces and the Northwest Territories. Internationally it is played in half a dozen countries around the world. Associations have been formed in U.S.A., Finland, Sweden, Russia and France. 

To introduce this sport to more players in its hometown, the West Ferris Ringette Association is offering a Come Try Ringette for Free Event on Sunday December 18 at 4 p.m. at West Ferris Arena. 

This event is for players between the ages of 4 and 14 who would like to try Ringette, all you need are skates, helmet and gloves. 

If you are interested, just show up at West Ferris Arena on Sunday, December 18 at 4 p.m.
