North Bay man charged after OPP seize Fentanyl, crack in Orillia

Two people were charged after OPP seized drugs, currency and drug paraphernalia on the morning of Oct. 23, 2024

A North Bay man faces a number of charges after police responded to a disturbance call at an Orillia business on Wednesday morning, says a news release issued by OPP
 
During the arrest, officers seized:
    •    42 grams of fentanyl
    •    8 grams of crack cocaine
    •    30 grams cocaine
    •    $640 Canadian currency
    •    Digital scale
    •    Cellular device

As a result of this investigation, 42-year-old Trevor Storie of North Bay is charged with:
    •    Possession for the purpose of trafficking - cocaine - two counts
    •    Possession for the purpose of trafficking - opioid
    •    Possession for the purpose of trafficking - methamphetamine
    •    Fail to comply with a probation order
    •    Resist peace officer

Also charged is 34-year-old Nicholas Williams of Orillia:
    •    Obstruct peace officer
    •    Resist peace officer
    •    Mischief

Both individuals were held in custody to await a bail hearing.

None of the allegations have been tested in court, and Storie and Williams are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
