Pandemic restrictions have been lifted, and Uride is ready to hit the ground running in North Bay.
Uride is offering all North bay residents five free rides up to $10 each throughout the next week.
The ride sharing company says it is doing its part in helping breathe life back into the dormant restaurants and bars in downtown North Bay.
"People want to go out, and they need fast, safe and affordable transportation," the release stated.
"Uride was founded upon the mission to prevent impaired driving ‒ the easier it is to get a ride home, the less likely one will be tempted by their own car after a long night out."
The North Bay Uride team is composed of North Bay drivers who are obsessed with ending impaired driving in their community.
"They are incentivized with a minimum guarantee of $1,250 per week plus tips for their first four weeks," a release stated.
"If you want to join this All-Star team or become a part-time driver to assist in Uride’s fight against impaired driving, apply to be a driver now at www.uridetech.com."
Uride officials add that there is also a $500 sign-on bonus for part-time drivers.
