An early morning crash of a transport "sounded like an explosion" Stephen Oake told BayToday about the accident.
A transport crashed into a rock-cut at 4:15 a.m. Monday morning on Highway 11 north at Angus Lake, mid-way between Marten River and Temagami.
"Sounded like an explosion. Jumped out of bed and went out to check on the occupants. Both were safe," he reports.
OPP confirm the investigation of the accident is underway into the single-vehicle crash, but the investigating officer is still writing a report.
