Conseil scolaire catholique Franco-Nord (CSCFN) has announced Tammy Cantin's appointment to Associate Superintendent of Education. She will assume her duties on August 15.
Cantin has over 25 years of experience in the education sector, including more than 13 years in leadership positions. She began her career in 1999 as a teacher, working in various CSCFN schools. In 2009, Cantin held the position of Interim Principal, and in 2014, she was appointed Principal until her appointment to the School Board as Principal of Special Education Programs and Services in 2020. In August 2023, she also became Principal of Student Success.
Cantin will begin her new role on Thursday, August 15 and will work closely with the executive team to ensure a smooth transition. As supervisor of assigned dossiers, programs, and pedagogical services, she will contribute to supporting organizational, administrative, and monitoring strategies that ensure accountability regarding the priorities and intermediate outcomes of CSCFN's strategic planning and in keeping with the expectations and requirements of the Ministry of Education.

Her organizational, administrative, and planning skills, as well as her varied experience and knowledge, will add to the expertise at the executive level," says Mr. Serge Levac , Director of Education.
