Grade 8 students at West Ferris Intermediate Secondary School were given the opportunity to participate in "Explore Canadore 2019" on Tuesday.
Students went to the Commerce Court campus and got to take part in various hands-on trade workshops put on by the faculty and students from Canadore College.
Students attended workshops on Plumbing, Construction, Electrical, Culinary, iCAMP, Motive Power, and many more.
Their day consisted of four different workshops, giving them a great opportunity to explore what Canadore has to offer, and possibly even give them something to think about for the future.
It was a very worthwhile day for the students, and West Ferris would like to thank all the staff and students at Canadore, Louise Lowe and Roy Desjardins from the NNDSB for putting on this fantastic opportunity.
