A 56-year-old man was injured after his sled hit a tree.

Police are asking snowmobilers to be aware of changing snow conditions and adjust their driving appropriately as we experience spring-like weather.

It comes after an incident on February 14 at 1:30 p.m. when an OPP officer came across a snowmobile that hit a tree on OFSC trail C102D at Butter and Egg Road in Muskoka Lakes Township.

Police and EMS arrived and the 53-year-old rider from Nova Scotia was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
