The Level Up! Skilled Trades Career Fair is visiting North Bay once again.
"This is a great opportunity for students, parents, and job seekers to explore the over 140 skilled trades through the fair taking place on October 16 at Nipissing University," says a release.
"The Level Up! fair will provide local students with an exciting opportunity to experience hands-on activities, interactive exhibitions, and hear directly from tradespeople and employers right in their community."
This year’s fair will feature an expanded list of exhibitors, participating students, families, and job seekers. Featuring over 150 overall exhibitors across 15 events, each career fair will offer an enhanced experience, with a focus on helping students take the first step in their journey toward a potential career in the skilled trades.
Each fair will feature:
- Hands-on activities and interactive exhibitions, offer a real-world experience in the skilled trades.
- Safety training demonstrations across the construction, industrial, service, and manufacturing sectors.
- Trainers and employers on-site to engage students, families, and job seekers with potential career opportunities.
