OPP in Kirkland Lake say a senior citizen was arrested on September 6, after an assault on Taylor Avenue in that town.
Further investigation revealed that the senior confronted the victim, striking him with his cane and tried to instigate a fight.
As a result, Frank Rocheleau, 64, from Kirkland Lake, was charged with:
- Assault with a weapon
- Fail to comply with conditions of an undertaking
- Fail to comply with a probation order
Rocheleau was held in custody pending a bail hearing..
