Buchner Manufacturing Inc., a family-owned Canadian manufacturer and distributor of exterior building products, has announced the successful completion of its recent initiative to support food banks across Ontario. The company has donated $50,000 to local food banks, providing essential resources to help individuals and families in need.
The $50,000 donation was distributed equally among the communities surrounding Buchner’s branches in North Bay, Pefferlaw, Newmarket, Kingston, and Owen Sound, with each community receiving $10,000.
The North Bay office is at 250 Kirkpatrick St.
"This initiative underscores Buchner Manufacturing’s dedication to addressing food insecurity and making a meaningful impact where it’s needed most," says a news release.
“Our company has deep roots in these communities, and we’re honoured to support the vital work of local food banks,” said John Buchner, President of Buchner Manufacturing. “This donation reflects our ongoing commitment to giving back and helping those who need it most.”
Since 1979, Buchner Manufacturing has been dedicated to strengthening the communities it serves. In addition to this donation, the company sponsors local sports teams, supports hospitals, and organizes drives to collect non-perishable food items and other essential supplies at their branches and through scheduled deliveries.
“We’re proud to support the communities that have supported us for over four decades. This donation is a reflection of our commitment to helping our neighbors in times of need, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to make a difference,” said Jeremy Buchner, Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
