New option for Sunday Mass for North Bay and area

'For a number of weeks, our parish has continually reached its capacity due to Government restrictions, which also contributed to another Mass time being offered'
2020 Holy Name of Jesus
The Holy Name of Jesus Church in North Bay. Submitted.

There is now another opportunity for area Catholics to attend Mass.

"Prior to this option, there was no alternative for Catholics to attend Mass after Sunday morning in our area," Fr. Daniele Muscolino told BayToday. "For a number of weeks, our parish has continually reached its capacity due to Government restrictions, which also contributed to another Mass time being offered."

Scheduled for 4 p.m. on Sunday afternoon at Holy Name of Jesus Church895 Memorial Drive, this Mass is another alternative for those who are unable to attend traditional Mass times on Sunday morning.

"All those attending are required to follow the safety protocols put in place by the Roman Catholic Diocese including mandatory mask use and physical distancing," adds Fr. Muscolino.

Other Mass times in the Catholic parishes of Holy Name of Jesus, North Bay & St. Alphonsus Liguori in Callander are:
