At 10:20 this morning, a North Bay woman reported to North Bay Police that she lost her wallet last night (on Wednesday September 21st) at approximately 10:30 p.m. when she was at McDonald’s on McKeown.

Police are concerned for public safety as inside the wallet were two opioid pills that were prescribed to her for pain.

Misuse of narcotic pain medication can cause addiction, overdose or death, especially in a child or other person using the medicine without a prescription, say police.

Anyone who finds the wallet is asked to contact the North Bay Police Service at 705-497-5555, or bring it into police headquarters at 135 Princess Street West, North Bay.
