Franco-Cité Catholic Secondary School continues its tradition of organizing the “A can helps out!” (A Can to Lend a Hand) food drive, which embodies the values, mission, and vision of L’École catholique, and assists local families in need during Thanksgiving.
On Wednesday, October 9, between 4 and 8 p.m., volunteers will be visiting homes in all West Nipissing communities to collect non-perishable food items. On Thursday, October 10, a food chain will transport the donations from Franco-Cité Catholic Secondary School.
Members of the West Nipissing community can place the food items in a bag or box in a visible location outside their door on Wednesday, October 9 by 4 p.m., or students will knock on the door between 4 and 8 p.m.. If your household was missed bring your donations to École scolaire catholique Franco-Cité, located at 90 Main Street, Sturgeon Falls, during school hours .
The West Nipissing Food Bank will accept e-transfers to [email protected] (please use the password: patriotes) from those wishing to make a financial contribution. In the e-transfer message box, please provide your email address.
