Family Fun Fishing Day and BBQ planned for Lake Temiskaming

This function will be a catch and release day with prizes in different categories

On Saturday March 26, members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police in partnership with members of the Tri-Town Crime Stoppers, Mothers Against Drunk Driving Boards and the Rotary Club of Temiskaming Shores and Area, will be hosting a Family Fun Fishing Day, BBQ and Children's activities to raise funds in support of the local Chapters.  

Where:  Haileybury Waterfront

             Farr Drive, Temiskaming Shores

When: March 26 from noon. until 4 p.m.

          Registration will start at 11 a.m.

The cost of the event is $20 per hole for participants over 12 years old and $5 for each child under 12 years, accompanied by an adult. This function will be a catch and release day with prizes in different categories.

The public is welcome to attend this event by registering on the day of the event or you can register ahead of time by sending an email money transfer to Dan at: [email protected].

The MADD committee will be running a fundraising BBQ at this event. The cost of the BBQ is $6 and you can pick from a hamburger or hot dog, chips, gummies, and bottled water, all served up in a MADD bag. Any other contributions will also be accepted. 

Take a break from making lunch and plan to join us on March 26 for some fun fishing and outdoor dining while showing your support for these local organizations.
