A drug bust in Cobalt yesterday (Wednesday) saw OPP seize over $38,000 in drugs and arrest one man.
Shortly after 6:30 p.m. police executed a search warrant on Nickle Street in Cobalt.
Once inside, officers discovered drug paraphernalia and seized suspected cocaine, Fentanyl, crystal methamphetamine, crack cocaine, Xanax, and cash.
Michel Corriveau, 40, from Cobalt has been arrested and charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - methamphetamine
- Two counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - cocaine
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - opioid
- Possession of a Schedule IV substance for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
- Failure to comply with a probation order
Corriveau was held for a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date in Temiskaming Shores.
