Giles Blunt, awarded-winning author of the "John Cardinal Mysteries”, will be the special guest at the May 12th Dine with the Author fundraiser being co-hosted by the Rotary Club of North Bay and the Callander Public Library.
The dinner is taking place at The Grande Event Centre. The doors open at 6 p.m. followed by dinner at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $85 (including a $40 tax receipt).
Proceeds from the evening will be going towards the Callander library building project and Rotary’s international literacy projects.
Basic education and literacy is one of Rotary’s six areas of focus and one of the root causes of poverty.
