Local snowfall accumulations are expected to be near 10 cm causing poor visibility at times in heavy snow.
Lake effect snow off of Georgian Bay and Lake Nipissing will continue throughout the day and into this evening.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead, and be prepared to stop.
