While the legal drinking age in Ontario is 19, the LCBO's policy is to ask anyone who looks under the age of 25 for identification.

In 2015, the LCBO asked more than 13.5 million people for their ID.

To support that policy, the LCBO has posted an online “card or not” challenge that asks visitors to identify whether eight random people are over the age of 25.

The idea is to give the general public an idea of the challenges LCBO employees might face deciding whether or not they should ask a customer for ID.
