Last year, West Nipissing residents paid a flat fee of $645.49 for water service, and $806.86 for sewer service for a single family dwelling. Combined, that’s $1,452.35 per year.
For 2023, that total rises to $1,481.66 per year for both water and sewer—a difference of $29.31. Broken down, water service in 2023 costs $658.52 and sanitary sewer service is $823.14 this year.
Multiple dwellings within the municipality will be charged the same flat fees as above, but for each additional dwelling, both water and sewer will cost $740.85. That’s $329.26 for water and $411.58 for sewer for each additional dwelling.
What about Cache Bay residents not connected to sewer services? The annual fee shall be $329.26, which is up from last year’s $322.75.
Have a pool? That will cost an additional $80.47. Last year’s pool fee was $78.88.
For those with metered service, the rates have raised slightly to $1.6957 per m3, and this includes industrial, commercial, and residential. The same rate applies to all commercial water tankers. In 2022, this metered rate was $1.6621 per m3.
