All four candidates vying for the Mayor’s seat will be participating in a Dunk Tank competition as part of Rotary’s Splash Pad Fun Event on Saturday, September 8th, behind the North Bay Museum.

The fun event runs from noon until 3 p.m., with the candidates getting dunked starting at 1 p.m.

Other activities include the North Bay Fire & Emergency Services (aerial truck, misting tent, water sprinkler), inflatables, water-based games; wishing well, and treats for the kids.

This event is the official launch of the “Make a Splash” fundraising campaign.

The overall goal is to raise $760,000. Both local Rotary clubs have committed $125,000 each towards the project and have already been busy working on raising the additional funds.

The goal is to have the Splash pad up and running by Canada Day 2019.
