For the second time since 2019, a pair from the Voodoos organization are coming home with World Jr. A Challenge silver medals.
Voodoos head coach Peter Goulet and associate coach Josh Hardiman were on the Team Canada staff. Goulet was named an assistant coach while Hardiman was given the video/goalie coach role for the event that took place in Truro, Nova Scotia.
Team Canada East, who defeated Sweden to make it to Sunday's final, fell to Team Canada West 7-2.
The event involved five international teams including Team Canada East, Team Canada West, Team Sweden, Team USA and Team Slovakia.
In 2019, Voodoos goalie Owen Say and trainer JJ Johnson were on Team Canada East when they fell in the final to the USA at the event held in Dawson Creek, B.C.
The two-week event forced Goulet and Hardiman to miss five games as the Voodoos went 3-2 with the coaches away as assistant coach Josh Dale and assistant coach/assistant GM Brent Tomlinson took over behind the bench.
