A BayToday reader submitted the video above after they saw an "odd, floating object in the sky on October 4," and wondered if anyone else had reported anything similar.
The video was filmed Wednesday around 10:50 a.m. from the Pinewood Park area, facing north in the direction of the airport. Children can be heard in the background, watching the sky and debating whether the object is an alien or a UFO.
Asked if they saw it crash, our videographer responded, "It didn't hit the ground at all; it moved horizontally in the sky then stopped and started to recede away from me until I lost sight of it. I don't know what it was. It was very odd looking which is why it caught my attention."
