Verner man charged with a number of offences

On the 4th of May at approximately 10:20 PM it is alleged that a man broke into a home via the basement window.
This man then further allegedly held a knife to a woman’s throat and threatened her and then left the house. This woman was known to the assailant.

Cst. Brian Moore of the North Bay Police received the call and located a suspect in relation to this incident.
Steven SHULTZ 32 years old of Principal St. in Verner is charged with Criminal Harassment, Utter Threats, Break and Enter and Commit Indictable Offence and Assault With a Weapon and is being held in custody for a bail hearing.
