Vehicle flies into the bush (PHOTOS)

Witnesses report very icy conditions on the road

The rain event yesterday led to some very treacherous road conditions in the area.

This one-vehicle accident occurred around 10 p.m. last night on Highway 654 heading West from the Wasi Road Petro-Canada gas station near Tama Kwa Road.

A vehicle left the road and flew into the ditch. Witnesses report very icy conditions on the road.

No word on any injuries at this time.

The OPP reported a number of highway closures in the Northeast, likely most related to the icy road conditions created on Saturday.
