Here's something we found that is kind of neat. A reader sent us a link to a site that shows the flight path of the plane.
You can see how the plane circled the airport trying to burn off fuel before trying to land.
It also shows how a planned: 430 km flight turned into 864 km.

There were a few anxious moments as a plane tried to land at the North Bay Jack Garland airport with landing gear problems today.
The pilot first noticed problems with the landing gear around 8 a.m. and started to burn off fuel.
Captain of Fire Station #2 Murray Jonescu, says they got the call around 10:30 that there may be a problem at the airport.
The plane did a couple of fly-bys before attempting to land, successfully at 12:08.
"The front landing gear did not hold and the plane made controlled landing without the landing gear," said Jonescu.
"It was a text book landing without front landing gear. North Bay Fire & Emergency Services had two major foam vehicles and one pumper on scene, and North Bay Ambulance had one ambulance on scene. "
The pilot and co-pilot were uninjured.
Jack Garland Airport Manager Jack Santerre told BayToday.ca the flight originated from Toronto Buttonville Municipal Airport located in Markham.
"All agencies today followed the emergency plan and did an excellent job," Santerre told Baytoday.ca in an email Friday afternoon.
