Update 1:30 p.m.
On November 26, shortly after 7 a.m., members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police, Temiskaming District Emergency Medical Service and the Englehart and Area Fire Department responded to a call for a motor vehicle collision on Highway 11 between Chamberlain Road 4 and Chamberlain Road 5, north of Englehart.
Further investigation revealed that one tractor trailer was travelling northbound and the other was southbound, when the two collided. One of the commercial vehicles contained fuel and was leaking as a result of the collision. The highway had to be closed in both directions for several hours, for cleanup of the spill.
The northbound driver sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries. The southbound driver and passenger sustained minor injuries. All parties were transported to the hospital.
Dragisa Postic, a 57-year-old male, of Stoney Creek is charged with careless driving,
Both vehicles were towed from the scene, and the highway has since re-opened.

Two transports that collided on Highway 11 north of Englehart this morning forced police to close the road in both directions.
It happened shortly after 7 a.m., on Highway 11 between Chamberlain Road 4 and Chamberlain Road 5, north of Englehart.
Investigation showed that one tractor-trailer was travelling northbound and the other was southbound, when the two collided. One tractor trailer contained fuel and is leaking as a result of the collision.
The highway is currently closed for cleanup of the spill.
The Ministry of the Environment (MOE) has been contacted and is assisting with the investigation.
OPP is advising motorists to drive carefully and to use the following detour to avoid the crash scene.
- If you are heading northbound on Highway 11, take Highway 65 west and head west from Temiskaming Shores towards Elk Lake. Then head east on Highway 66 towards Highway 11.
- If you are southbound on Highway 11 to New Liskeard, take Highway 66 westbound, then take 65 West and head eastbound towards Elk Lake, and continue east to Highway 11, in Temiskaming Shores.
Members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the OPP, Nipissing District Emergency Medical Service and the Chamberlain Fire Department responded to the call.
