The Ontario government has opened applications for the Experience Ontario 2025 program. Eligible applicants can apply for festivals and events taking place between April 1, 2025, and March 31, 2026.
“We encourage local festival and event organizers to apply for the Experience Ontario 2025 funding,” said MPP Vic Fedeli. “Funding will help organizers deliver unique experiences that encourage people to discover Nipissing, connect with neighbours, and foster pride among residents. By supporting festivals and events, we are investing in the growth and competitiveness of our local tourism sector.”
Experience Ontario 2025 supports in-person festivals or events in Ontario that will:
- Draw tourists and increase visitor spending through innovative programming in partnership with businesses and community partners.
- Provide job opportunities for Ontarians in the tourism, culture, and entertainment sectors.

The deadline for applications is December 19, 2024, at 4 p.m.
The program will be launched through a new online portal platform in Transfer Payment Ontario: TPON. The portal has been designed to improve the application process with enhanced functionality and streamlined questions for applicants.
