Opp are now reporting a second person has died in a three-vehicle crash on Highway 11, just south of Temagami last night. One vehicle was a transport truck.

The accident, which occurred shortly after 6:30 p.m. closed Highway 11 north in both directions between Cedar Heights Rd in North Bay and the junction of Highway 65 New Liskeard.
OPP initially reported one fatality at the scene. It has been confirmed that two people have now died.
The accident happened near Papa John's Road on Highway 11, south of Temagami. A resident living close by says highway conditions were terrible at the crash site with glare ice on the pavement
The OPP's Technical Traffic Collision Investigators and the Office of the Chief Coroner- Ontario Forensic Pathology Service are assisting with this investigation.
The Temiskaming Detachment of the OPP, the Temagami Fire Department, and the Timiskaming Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene.
The investigation is still on-going. Further information will be released as it becomes available say police.
