Huntsville OPP is seeking the public's assistance regarding the theft of three boats from the community of Lake of Bays.
On September 6 the Huntsville OPP received a report that three boats with trailers were stolen from a business on Highway 35 in Lake of Bays. Between 3:30 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. on September 6, someone in a white pick-up truck stole property described as:
- Four Winns 20-foot Bowrider, red in colour
- Glastron 20-foot Bowrider, white in colour
- Legend 16-foot Pontoon boat, black in colour
The value of the property stolen is estimated over $75,000.
Anyone who was in the area of Highway 60 and Highway 35 between 3. and 5 a.m. on September 6 and saw something suspicious or has any information, dash cam or surveillance video that may assist the investigation is asked to contact the Huntsville OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
