Nipissing University Student Union and the Equity Centre will host the Pride Drag Show, which promises "an evening of remarkable entertainment, inclusiveness, and jubilation that will leave a lasting impression."
"The Pride Drag Show boasts a lineup of talented drag performers who will dazzle the audience with their extraordinary acts, fabulous costumes, and captivating performances," says a news release. "From lip-syncing to dance routines, attendees can expect an incredible showcase of talent and creativity that will keep them on the edge of their seats throughout the night."
"We are incredibly excited to bring this spectacular Pride Drag Show to our community," said Harikesh Panchal, NUSU VP Advocacy & Awareness. "It's a time to embrace diversity, express oneself, and create lasting memories. We invite everyone to join us and experience the magic and power of drag performance."

"Whether one identifies as a member of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community or as an ally, this event offers a safe and welcoming space for all to gather, celebrate diversity, and revel in an evening of pure entertainment and joy."

The bar will serve a wide selection of alcoholic beverages and food options will be provided to satisfy cravings and sustain energy levels. The event also introduces Performer Bucks, a special currency enabling attendees to show their appreciation to the performers through tips and support.
The show is scheduled for June 28 at On The Rocks, situated at 221 College Drive. Doors open at 6:30 p.m,
Tickets for the Pride Drag Show can be purchased at the door for $10.
