Looking for something to do on Family Day?
The Canadian Forces Museum of Aerospace Defence will welcome visitors from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., tomorrow (Monday) for a unique museum visit.
"Try on military uniforms of the past in our dress-up photo studio, challenge yourself to searching for items around the museum with scavenger hunts, and relax and enjoy some art time with our airplane-themed colouring table," says a museum news release. "Family Day is about creating fun experiences for all ages! Admission is free but donations to the museum are always greatly appreciated."
CFMAD covers the history of air defence from the First World War to the modern day and is celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Air Force this year.
You can find it at 22 Wing/Canadian Forces Base just past the airport.
