Teletech’s Employees Partnering and Interacting in the Community (EPIC) Committee presented the North Bay Literacy Council with $500.00 worth of Gift Cards from Grand & Toy Thursday.

Earlier this year Teletech took part in the Pennies in a Pick-up event, a fundraiser for the North Bay Focus and walked away with the “Top Business” prize, in turn the employees opted not to keep the $500 dollar gift cards instead they thought they would give back to the community once again.
“We thought the North Bay Literacy Council could use this far more than any other charity that we support,” explains Kymberly Budge EPIC Chair.

“It’s in our own back yard … and you want to help your community first before the big charities.”

Budge also said the goal was to help out the North Bay Focus and winning the “Top Business” award was an added "feel good moment".
Jane Jackson, Executive Co-ordinator says they she was just thrilled when she got the call from the committee.

“Teletech has been a huge support to us … if it were not for them I don’t where we would be.”

I can tell you this really comes in handy and I will be blazing a trail to Grand and Toy,” she adds.

Teletech employees raised a grand total of $3,661.00 for the North Bay Focus.
