Sudden Death in White River

(White River, ON) - At about 6:45 p.m. this evening (Saturday, April 15th) an OPP officer observed an individual matching the description of Jason Bernard Logan, age 32, walking along Winnipeg Street in White River. Logan was wanted on a Canada Wide Arrest Warrant and has been the subject of an intensive police search in the Wawa, White River area earlier this week.

When approached by police, the man fled and a short foot pursuit ensued. The subject climbed between the cars of a stopped train and was located by police deceased with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
