Sister Act III

Two sisters have been arrested following a fight Thursday afternoon in a Nelson Avenue apartment.

Constables Penny Kerr and Steve Taylor of the North Bay Police Service received the call around 3:30 p.m., and when the officers arrived they took complaints of assault with an aluminium pot from one of the women. The other was located a short distance away and arrested. Later, with information received, the officers arrested the other woman for assault with an aluminium pot.

Trevanna SIMPSON, 18, of Nelson Avenue, is charged with assault with a weapon and is to appear in court Oct. 19.

Shestina SIMPSON, 20, of no fixed address, is charged with assault with a weapon and remains in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
