Shining success

Students from Nipissing University and Canadore College were out in full force Saturday for the annual Shinerama fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis.

This year the event saw the addition of a cars wash, barbeque, and sing songs in addition to the traditional shoe shines for donations all in the hopes of helping raise over $1 million dollars nation-wide.

Genevieve de Bruyn, NUSU President, advises Baytoday that students from both Nipissing and Canadore raised $13,000 during the one-day event.
