Police, the fire department and paramedic services were busy on both ends of town dealing with major accidents.
Before lunch hour, emergency crews responded to what appeared to be a two-car collision that left an SUV flipped onto its roof near the Stockdale and Airport Road intersection north of the city.
No word on the cause or any injuries. Meantime, police routed traffic around the accident scene during lunch hour.
Then early Friday evening emergency crews responded to a collision involving a motorcycle in the 100 block of Lakeshore Drive.
No word on the injuries, however the motorcycle involved in the crash had significant damage.
