You may need to take a detour if heading down Main St. today.
The "Making Over Main Street" project is nearly done, with the paving of the final block between Fraser and Cassells streets scheduled for today.
The intersection of Fraser and Main will be closed for the day to allow this work to proceed. All traffic on Main Street travelling westbound from Ferguson will need to temporarily make a three-point turn to exit this section of the road.
Once paving is completed, a single northbound lane on Fraser will be re-opened, allowing traffic from Main to exit on Fraser.
