OPP News Release

Starting the week of December 17th, 2007 the OPP in Noelville will be continuing a randomized community telephone survey in the area in order to improve the quality of policing being delivered and determine the public’s perception of safety and service from police. This area includes the French River, Markstay Warren, St-Charles and Killarney and a total of 366 surveys are required.

Over the next month volunteers will conduct the survey and enter the results into a software program. The results are compiled into a package that will provide vital feedback for the OPP to determine what the concerns and priorities are in the communities of the Noelville Detachment area over the next two years.

The calls will be completed between 9am-9pm and the entire survey takes approximately 10 minutes. Phone numbers are chosen at random by the computer and the subject matter covers all aspects of policing including some of the local programs that are offered.
