You may want to reconsider moseying over to Callander’s municipal office this Wednesday.
Indeed, on December 18, the office’s phones and computers will be taken off-line for regular maintenance. Because of this, services will be reduced. However, payments will be accepted, but you’ll have to wait for that receipt.
Municipal staff assured, “Receipts will be emailed once we have our computer system back up.”
Plus, the offices will be closed completely from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on that day. It’s time for the annual Christmas lunch, which brings the municipal employees together for some yuletide cheer.
As for those who dreamt of paying their water bill this Wednesday, staff noted, “We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.”
