UPDATE: North Bay Hydro reports power was restored at 9:05 a.m. on Monday morning. If power is still out in your North Bay area home, you are asked to contact North Bay Hydro.

North Bay is feeling the first impact of the late 2019 ice storm.

Some power outages are already being reported by North Bay Hydro.

“We are aware of an outage in the Jane/Main W/Pinewood area,” North Bay Hydro stated via Twitter around 7:30 a.m. this morning.

“Crews are investigating.”

Hydro Crews believe the problem will be resolved shortly.

"There is a power outage due to a broken conductor in substation #19," North Bay Hydro stated via Twitter after 8 a.m. this morning.

"Crews are working to re-route power from other substations.  Approximately 1050 customers are affected.  Estimated restoration time is 9 a.m."
