The band, originally the Dave Demarco band, was one of the most popular in the city in the '80s and '90s and after playing numerous parties and telethons was considered the "Official band of MCTV."

"I'm still a bit in shock about losing my good friend," bandmate Dave Demarco told BayToday. " He was one of the finest guitar players l ever played with.  He was also a great friend who would do anything for anyone.  Always wanting to please and play good music.  He would take gigs and not want to get paid just so he could play music and make people happy.  I will miss him a lot."

Lucenti is the third member of the band to pass away as keyboardist Barry Green and drummer Steve Clarke both died in 2016.

Lucenti was also an avid skier and instructor and loved being on the water.

"Friends and family were very important to Terry, he loved sitting and chatting, always one more story to tell. Terry played notes of joy that are sealed in our hearts. He carved his way through life's slopes with friendships and enthusiasm."

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at the North Bay Davedi Club on Saturday, January 20 from 1-4 p.m.
