The front seat passenger of a southbound vehicle on Highway 69 had her foot severed when the vehicle crashed into a guard rail near French River on Saturday.
The crash caused the guard rail to go through the vehicle, said the Ontario Provincial Police in a tweet.
The victim was 52.
A passenger in the back, a 52-year-old man, suffered fractured ankles.
The driver has been charged with careless driving, said the OPP.
