The Nugget will no longer be publishing a print or digital e-edition on Mondays.
Beginning Dec. 17, the print and e-edition will be published Tuesday to Saturday only.
The Nugget announced the move on Tuesday evening, saying subscription prices will remain unchanged.
"This change reflects the changing media landscape in North America and our own digital transformation," said the Nugget.
It will continue to publish news to its website and through social media seven days a week.
The move also involves the Sault Star, Sudbury Star, and Timmins Daily Press.
