It was ribbon-cutting time at the Northern Ontario Pavilion at the Royal Agricultural Fair today.
"The Royal Agricultural Fair is a time-honored event celebrating Ontario's agricultural heritage, featuring diverse exhibitions, competitions, and activities that showcase the province's farming innovations and local products," says a news release.
This year's Northern Ontario Pavilion highlights the region's contributions to agriculture, fostering community engagement and collaboration among local producers. The event serves as a platform for networking and sharing best practices, emphasizing the importance of agriculture in sustaining Northern Ontario's economy and culture.

On June 27 MP Marc Serré announced $716,800 from FedNor for the Economic Partners Sudbury East/West Nipissing Inc. which is hosting the Northern Ontario Agri-Food Pavilion.

"Events like the Royal Agricultural Fair are vital for showcasing what we do best in Northern Ontario and fostering connections within our agricultural community," said Serré. “FedNor’s investments truly help businesses find new markets so they can continue to grow.”
The event runs from today to the 10th. Last year, the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair saw an attendance of around 280,000 visitors, highlighting its significance.
