Henry Denis Senecal is North Bay's New Year's Baby for 2025.

Welcome Henry Denis Senecal, who is North Bay's New Year's baby in 2025.

Henry, who came into the world at a healthy 8 pounds and 2 ounces, was born at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on January 1, at 9:15 a.m.

Joel Senecal and his partner Samantha live in Sturgeon Falls. Joel is a lawyer, while Samantha is a nurse at NBRHC.

"Mom and baby are doing great," said the proud dad.

"Henry is our second child, his sister, Meela Senecal is very happy to have her brother join our family."

Joel says Mom and Henry are doing well.

"Being the first boy of the year, we received a rocking horse that was donated to the labour and delivery ward," said a thankful father.

Joel was also a successful junior hockey player in North Bay. He says they also received a gift bag from the Lakeshore Evangelical Missionary Church Ladies Seniors and Singles Group.

"We are thankful for these generous and thoughtful gifts. We would also like to say thank you to the staff at NBRHC for the excellent care that we received during our stay."
