North Bay is 'hidden jewel' says Airbnb

North Bay is in the top 10 of a report that reveals the top trending destinations for Canadians this winter, according to the  Airbnb 2024 Winter Travel Report.

The City shares the top 10 with the likes of Mont-Tremblant, Québec and Vancouver, British Columbia.

"North Bay is emerging as a hidden gem for winter travellers, offering both the beauty of nature and small-town charm," says the report. "With its access to snow-covered trails, perfect for snowshoeing and snowmobiling, and Lake Nipissing’s stunning winter views, North Bay is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. The cozy downtown also adds to its appeal, making it a great winter destination for those looking to explore Northern Ontario

It touts the City's outdoor recreational attractions.

"This winter, Canadians are embracing the great outdoors with ski trips and big city destinations dominating the list of domestic trending destinations."

Airbnb did not release its methodology in its release.
