North Bay goes to the polls today (photos)

The polls for the 2006 Municipal Election open at 10am and all candidates are encouraging residents to exercise their democratic right to vote.

Students 18-years and older are urged to get out and be part of the process, and only need a photo identification and a qualifying address (a bill or a receipt act as proof of your residence) to cast a ballot if they did not receive a voting cards. Simply go to the polling station near your residence with your ID and you can register and vote.
